DESTINATION QUESTIONS

Common questions, answered directly.

Still deciding between countries? These are the questions students ask us most.

Talk to a destination specialist →
Which country should I choose if cost matters most?

Germany and Ireland generally offer the lowest total cost of the seven, with Germany's public universities charging low or no tuition at many institutions. Canada and the UK sit in the middle. Costs still vary widely by city and university, so we run the numbers for your specific shortlist.

Which destinations offer the strongest post-study work rights?

The UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand currently offer multi-year post-study work visas tied to your qualification level. The USA's OPT is typically shorter unless you qualify for the STEM extension. Rules change periodically, so we confirm the current policy before you commit.

Can I apply to more than one country at the same time?

Yes, and many students do. Each country has its own platform, deadlines and documents, so we sequence your applications to avoid clashing deadlines.

Do rankings actually matter for my career?

Global rankings are one useful signal, but employer recognition in your target industry often matters more. A counsellor can tell you how a specific university is actually viewed by employers in your field.

How far in advance should I start applying?

As a general rule, start 10 to 12 months before your intended intake — earlier for the USA and Australia. Use the intake dates in each country profile as your starting point.
